Modernized Wiffle Ball
This Limited Flight Training Ball is rather ingenious. It feels like it is made out of a sturdy, silicone type material. It compresses when hit and returns to form. I figured it would not be able to go far, but no, my son still knocked it out of the park, the only difference is the ball floated in almost a slow motion so you could actually track where it traveled. Really impressive. It has the feel of throwing a lighter baseball and it doesn't hurt when getting hit by it. I would recommend it for tee ballers as well as kids in older leagues as this makes an excellent training aid. You still get that satisfying crack when you hit it, the bright color makes it a more visible target and the chase after the hit is not as far as a standard baseball. When you pitch these it will be at reduced speeds. Ideally they are for batting practice, it works extremely well especially in our backyard where I don't have to worry about a ball shattering a window. I have multiple GoSports products and can attest to their quality and innovation in a multitude of sports. This is another great example of where they found a way to improve training. The balls feel durable and are a great addition to our practices.
